Ahead of Thailand's 3rd UPR that will take place in November 2021, Manushya developed 14 joint submissions with local communities from Thailand, to examine the compliance of the Thai Government with the recommendations received during the 2nd UPR cycle of Thailand.

In the submissions, Manushya and the communities analyze the efforts made by the government to implement recommendations received concerning the compliance of national legislation with international human rights obligations of Thailand. The submissions are an important way to build credible evidence and allow communities and organisations to draw specific, measurable and result-oriented recommendations to ensure that human rights in Thailand are respected and upheld.
