WHO WE ARE

In sanskrit, Manushya means ‘Human Being’. It was founded in 2017 by Emilie Palamy Pradichit, as a women-led & innovative non-profit organization promoting community empowerment to advance the human rights of marginalized communities and fight for social justice!

MISSION

We connect and empower local communities across Asia to be at the center of decisions and policies that affect them. Communities become Agents of Change fighting for their rights and providing solutions to improve their lives and livelihoods.

VISION

We believe in the ‘infinite positive power of Humans’ in building together inclusive, just, equal and peaceful societies in Asia, where everyone enjoys human rights, leaving no one behind.

WHAT WE DO

HOW CHANGE HAPPENS

Establishing strong, intersectional networks to further social justice.

Enabling communities to effectively fight for human rights.

Centring community voices in the human rights response.

Founded in 2017, Manushya Foundation serves as a bridge to engage, mobilise, and empower agents of change by: connecting humans through inclusive coalition building and; by developing strategies focused at placing local communities’ voices in the centre of human rights advocacy and domestic implementation of international human rights obligations and standards.
