One year after a youth- and worker-led uprising shook the country, injustice remains unresolved. The people refuse to stay silent.

Today, hundreds of people from Pati, Central Java are taking their demands to the streets, joined by workers, grassroots movements and civil society groups across Indonesia.

Bear witness to their resistance! 👉 Explore the videos to understand more about these demands and why they need our global attention NOW.

We stand in solidarity with our Indonesian #SEAblings as they demand:

🔸 A New Labour Law Bill (RUU Ketenagakerjaan) that serves workers’ interests, not companies’ profit

🔸 A transparent Presidential Regulation for Online Transport (Perpres Perlindungan Ojol) guaranteeing decent service rates

🔸 Community-led disaster recovery, end to land grabbing, and return of lands to farmers and Indigenous Peoples

🔸 Public budgets that uphold basic social services like healthcare and education

🔸 Transparent prosecution of mega-corruption among bureaucratic elites, alongside reparations for human-rights abuse victims.

🔸 Safety in the frontlines, free from state brutality and sexual harassment

𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻: 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩. ✊🏽 We are watching. State repression against peaceful dissent will not go unseen.
