Are We Free Online? - Digital Rights in the Philippines


Check our ‘SPOTLIGHT-Philippines’ on the misuse of anti-democratic law, policies and actions by the government of Philippines that violates digital rights in the name of ‘National Security’.


In the Philippines, government critics including activists, students, journalists and independent media have been targeted using all means including physical threats with individuals even being killed, online threats, and by misusing the law, creating an environment of fear in the country.
