Behind the Byline - Faces of Press Freedom (September's Most Urgent Cases)

All over the world, it is getting more and more difficult to hold the line for press freedom and free speech.

For One Free Press Coalition’s September list of most urgent and unresolved cases, all 10 journalists are missing, with some presumed dead.

Know their faces ~ They are courageous journalists fighting to tell the truth. Remember them ~ everyday and always ~ for the work that they do and the freedoms they represent.

Attacks on journalists are attacks on people’s basic human rights to free speech.

Manushya Foundation condemns the unjust treatment of reporters all over the world. We call on governments worldwide to actively investigate the cases of these missing journalists and to respect press freedom.
