🗣คำเเนะนำในการแก้ปัญหาความยากจนของพล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชาที่อำเภอเมืองยะลาสะท้อนถึงวิสัยทัศน์อัน “วิบัติ” และไม่เห็นหัวประชาชนของรัฐบาล
🐣การเสนอให้ประชาชนเลี้ยงไก่ 2 ตัว อย่าเพิ่งฆ่า รอให้ไก่ออกไข่ก่อนเป็นการเลี่ยงที่จะเเก้ปัญหาต้นเหตุของความยากจน การที่ประชาชนมีรายได้ที่ไม่เพียงพอต่อค่าครองชีพที่สูงขึ้นเป็นผลพวงมาจากนโยบายของรัฐบาลที่เอื้อประโยชน์ต่อ “นายทุน” มากกว่า “นาย” ที่เเท้จริงของรัฐบาลอย่างประชาชน ถ้อยคำอันสวยหรูอย่าง “ความพอเพียง” จึงถูกใช้เป็น “กุศโลบาย” ของรัฐบาลในการการผลัก “ภาระ” ให้ประชาชนดูเเลตนเอง ซึ่งขัดกับคำกล่าวอ้างของรัฐบาลที่พูดเสมอว่าพยายามเเก้ไขปัญหาเรื่องความยากจนมาโดยตลอด
❌ แม้ว่ารัฐบาลเคยให้คำสัญญาที่เคยให้ไว้กับประชาคมโลกว่าจะเป็นแชมป์เปี้ยนแห่งการพัฒนาทางธุรกิจอย่างยั่งยืนในเอเชียผ่านแผนปฏิบัติการแห่งชาติด้านธุรกิจกับสิทธิมนุษยชน (NAP-BHR) แต่พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรีกลับคอย "โยน" การบรรเทาความยากจนของประเทศซึ่งภาระหน้าที่ของรัฐบาลกลับไปที่ประชาชนตลอด เช่น การเลี้ยงไก่เพื่อรอไข่ นี่ไม่ใช่วิธีแก้ปัญหาที่ถูกต้อง! #BizHumanRights
✊🏼 ทางมูลนิธิมานุษยะขอเรียกร้องให้รัฐบาลพลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา หยุดนโยบายทางเศรษฐกิจที่สร้างกำไรบนความทุกข์ของประชาชนและปฏิบัติตามหน้าที่ของรัฐบาลภายใต้กฎหมายสิทธิมนุษยชนระหว่างประเทศ โดยเฉพาะพันธะกรณีที่จะต้องดำเนินการออกนโยบายอำนวยความสะดวกให้ประชาชนสามารถเข้าถึงสิทธิมนุษยชนขั้นพื้นฐานได้ตามที่กำหนดไว้ในกติการะหว่างประเทศว่าด้วยสิทธิทางเศรษฐกิจ สังคม เเละวัฒนธรรม(ICESCR) ซึ่งประเทศไทยเป็นภาคี!

🗣Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha's recent suggestion to combat poverty shows the vicious vision of the government to put profit over people!
🐣By recommending citizens to raise 2 chickens and wait until they lay eggs for consumption, the government avoids addressing the root causes of poverty: its profit-oriented policies which put business tycoons over the people. Under the veil of self-sufficiency, the government shamelessly shifts its responsibilities to the citizens, which undeniably goes against its proclaimed attempts to combat poverty.
❌ Despite its promise before the international community to become the #BizHumanRights champion of Asia with its National Action Plans on Business and Human Rights (NAP-BHR), the military-backed government of PM Prayut Chan-o-cha has done nothing but pushing its own duties to the hands of the people. Raising chickens for eggs is not the answer!
✊🏼Manushya Foundation calls on the government to put #PeopleOverProfit ! It must start living up to the obligations before international human rights law in resolving poverty, especially the obligation to take positive actions to fulfill and facilitate the enjoyment of basic human rights recognized in the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), to which Thailand is State Party!
