Day 2 of our UPR IV Strategic Advocacy Workshop 🇺🇳🇹🇭: Engaging diplomats with strategy and heart

The second day of our workshop, "From Evidence to Action: Strategic Advocacy for the UPR IV & ICCPR Reviews of Thailand", was all about shifting power. We moved from drafting factsheets to gearing up frontline human rights defenders to engage directly with diplomats.

Best Chitsanupong Nithiwana, Founder of Young Pride Foundation and trans woman human rights defender, put it best about activists coming together from across Thailand:

“For too long, access to diplomats has been dominated by large Global North INGOs with colonial mindsets, while communities living these struggles were pushed to the margins. We are changing that now as a movement.”

🎭 Simulated Diplomatic Lobbying: Put Manushya’s lobbying framework into practice through dynamic role-playing! Developed by Manushya Founder & human rights lawyer Emilie Palamy Pradichit (drawing from her deep UN experience), this framework equips communities to lobby with heart, strategy, and credibility. 💡
