Inclusion And Accessibility For Persons With Disabilities: The Key to Leave No One Behind

For the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we fight to create a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable world where the rights of persons with disabilities are protected and respected. People with disabilities are less likely to access health care, education, employment and to participate in the community, and this needs to change, especially with Covid-19 deepening inequalities and hitting persons with disabilities harder in terms of fatalities.

We urge governments, businesses and individuals to tackle discrimination against persons with disabilities and promote their rights and well-being in all spheres of society and development. We must work towards a world where we leave no one behind and where being different is never a weakness, but a powerful strength!
