⚖️ Our wellbeing is shaped by the systems we are forced to survive in: poverty and precarity, racism, patriarchy, displacement, discrimination, violence, genocide, unsafe work, and the denial of our fundamental rights.

These are not individual failures, but consequences of systems that decide who gets safety, dignity, resources and power… and who is expected to simply “cope.”

✊🏽Therapy and individual care matter. But they cannot be the whole response to conditions that contribute to people’s distress. As a decolonial and intersectional feminist organisation, we believe mental health justice must confront those systems too.

Mental health means asking not only how do we cope? but also how do we change the world we are being asked to cope with?
