Together with representatives from the Cross Cultural Foundation (CrCF) and the International Commission of Jurists, our Founder and Executive Director Emilie Palamy Pradichit briefed the Ambassadors on the pressing human rights issues in Thailand, including the country’s involvement in the transnational repression of activists and the daily risks faced by political refugees and human rights defenders.

We also proudly celebrated the Human Rights Tulip Award, which Manushya received from the Embassy of the Netherlands in Bangkok in 2024 to recognise our work in advancing human rights movements.

As Decolonial Intersectional Feminists, this meeting served as an important space for Manushya to further amplify the voices of the communities we work with and to strengthen international collaboration for the protection of human rights in the country.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Embassy of the Netherlands in Thailand, the Ambassadors, and all of their team for this meaningful exchange and their continued commitment to human rights and support for our work.

Manushya is also deeply grateful to our amazing team — and to all the brave communities, partners, and activists who inspire and drive our fight for human rights every day.
