โš–๏ธย On 29 August 2025, Thai courts sentenced student activist ๐˜ฝ๐™–๐™ž ๐™‹๐™ค๐™ง (เธ“เธฑเธเธ™เธดเธŠ) to 4 years in prison โ€” just for sharing two Facebook posts from ThaluWang about taxpayer money and the monarchy.

โžก๏ธย She was prosecuted under Section 112 (Lรจse-Majestรฉ) and the Computer Crimes Act (CCA) โ€” a double-edged sword used to silence dissent. โžก๏ธ 2 shares. 4 years. No freedom. โžก๏ธ Bai Por is now out on bail pending appeal โ€” but still living under the threat of prison.

#๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐——๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น๐——๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฝ โŒ This is what dictatorship looks like in the digital age: ๐Ÿ”ด Young women are criminalized for speaking truth. ๐Ÿ”ด Section 112 and the CCA are weaponized to crush democracy. ๐Ÿ”ด The internet becomes a prison, where โ€œsharingโ€ is treated as a crime.

โœŠย As decolonial intersectional feminists, we denounce this assault on free expression and stand in solidarity with Bai Por and all activists unjustly prosecuted under Section 112 and the CCA.

๐Ÿ–ค Democracy cannot survive when truth is censored. ๐Ÿ–ค Justice cannot exist when young voices are silenced. ๐Ÿ–ค Freedom cannot live under fear.
