šŸ“A few weeks ago, Manushya joined hands with our coalition to submit two Joint Civil Society Reports featuring our stories, and recommendations to the Thai Government, in response to the 2024 Thai State CEDAW Report, where they explained their attempts to address gender inequity in Thailand.

āœļøSwipe through to read some highlights from our Report 1, ā€˜Techno-colonialism and the Gendered Crackdown: A Feminist Report on Civic Space, Transnational Repression, and Digital Control in Thailand’ (and stay tuned for more on our Report 2 later on).

šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡³Tomorrow, 19 June 2025, the CEDAW Committee shall conduct its Review, during the 91st session (16 June–4 July 2025), taking into consideration the contents of the Reports.Ā

āš–ļø23 independent experts of the CEDAW Committee assess the Thai Government’s actions and shortcomings, and issue Concluding Observations—powerful recommendations that the State is obligated to implement. These are not just words on paper: they are tools for justice, and a roadmap for change.
