The Free Youth Movement in Thailand - Interview with Tattep Ruangprapaikitseree “Ford”

Mass protests are happening all over the country. This is a youth-led movement and the biggest pro-democracy movement since 2014 coup d’état. Watch the video and find out why the youth are protesting and what do they want with Free Youth and Free People Secretary-General Tattep Ruangprapaikitseree “Ford”.

In this interview, he is answering to 4 questions: - What is the difference between the Free Youth and the Free People Movement? - What are the 3 demands developed by the Free Youth and the Free People Movement? - Are you ready to compromise on your 3 demands with the military-backed government? - What would you like to tell young people and anyone fighting for democracy in Thailand?

The 3 demands developed by the Free Youth and the Free People Movement are: (1) a new Constitution, (2) the Dissolution of the Parliament and (3) an End to threats against activists. The movements also aim to curb the Monarchy's power to ensure Thailand is governed by the People and for the People.
