มาดูกันว่า "พลังของการรวมตัว” สามารถสร้างอะไรได้บ้าง นี่คือภาพช่วงเวลาสำคัญจากวันที่ 24 มีนาคมที่ผ่านมา วันที่ศาลแพ่งรัชดามีคำพิพากษาให้ชาวบ้านเป็นฝ่ายชนะคดีและชี้ว่าผู้ประกอบการเหมืองทองคำรายใหญ่ที่สุดของประเทศไทยต้องรับผิดชอบต่อความเสียหายที่เกิดขึ้นกับที่ดิน แหล่งน้ำ และสุขภาพของชาวบ้านที่ได้รับผลกระทบ
ชาวบ้านเกือบ 50 คน เดินทางกว่า 6 ชั่วโมงจากจังหวัดพิจิตรและเพชรบูรณ์ เพื่อมาร่วมรับฟังคำตัดสินครั้งประวัติศาสตร์นี้ บางคนที่ร่วมต่อสู้กันมาอย่างคุณลุงมานิจ ลำพะสอน และคุณลุงล็อค เภาบัว ไม่ได้มีชีวิตอยู่เพื่อมาเห็นช่วงเวลาสำคัญนี้แล้ว
มูลนิธิมานุษยะได้เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในคดีนี้ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2562 ตั่งแต่นั้นมามีหลายคนได้เข้ามาร่วมกันยืนหยัดเคียงข้างชาวบ้าน เข้ามาช่วยกันเก็บข้อมูลผลกระทบในพื้นที่ ไปจนถึงช่วยแสดงพลังสนับสนุนทั้งออนไลน์และออฟไลน์ การชนะคดีในครั้งนี้จะเกิดขึ้นไม่ได้เลยหากไม่ได้มีทุก ๆคนคอยช่วยสนับสนุน ทางมูลนิธิมานุษยะขอขอบคุณทุก ๆ กำลังใจและแรงพลักดันที่ให้กันมาโดยตลอด🤝🏽
แต่การต่อสู้เพื่อความรับผิดของภาคธุรกิจอย่างแท้จริงยังไม่จบ เราจะเดินหน้าทุกช่องทางทั้งทางกฎหมายและการรณรงค์อย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อให้ผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องทั้งหมด ทั้งภาคธุรกิจและภาครัฐ ต้องออกมารับผิดชอบต่อความเสียหายที่เกิดขึ้นกับชุมชนและชาวบ้าน
