Following the termination of the TAFTA arbitration on 27 November, Kingsgate (Australian mining company) and Thai authorities celebrated ‘a new era of renewed cooperation to deliver long term value for Kingsgate’s shareholders and stakeholders’.

But this is not a new era, this is Business As Usual, where the 1% elite wins it all: licenses, tax exemptions, new investments. While those facing the impacts of corporate misbehaviors are left with nothing. No Accountability, No Justice.

But the fight for justice is not over! The class action lawsuit filed by villagers in 2016 is still underway with the judgement hearing scheduled for 24 March 2026.
