✊🏽 As Decolonial and Intersectional Feminists from the Global Majority, in Southeast Asia, we at Manushya Foundation stand in Strength & Solidarity with Rohingya communities facing genocide, statelessness, and erasure.

Their culture, identity, and existence matter. Their voices must be heard. Their rights must be upheld.

🩷 Our sister Yasmin Ullah, wonderful Rohingya Advocate from the Rohingya Maìyafuìnor Collaborative Network, joined us in Bangkok on 9 May 2025, at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand (FCCT), for our event on « Techno-colonialism », and reminded us that digital hate doesn’t just stay online — it fuels violence, justifies policies, and erases lives.

✊🏽 Her call to action is clear: reclaim our narrative, build digital safety, and center sisterhood and truth.

🗣️ In her own words « We are not victims. We are witnesses, survivors — and leaders. »

✊🏽 « Everywhere you go, never forget to #StandWithRohingya »

📺 If you’d like to learn more, we invite you to watch the recording of our powerful Panel Talk on “Confronting Authoritarianism & Techno-Colonialism in Southeast Asia”, held on 9 May, and listen to Yasmin, as she speaks truth to power on the rise of techno-colonialism and the violent impact of online hate, disinformation, and digital violence against Rohingya communities — especially Rohingya women.
