#WorldHumanitarianDay: #ItTakesAVillage to help people impacted by the climate crisis.

#ItTakesAVillage to help people impacted by the climate crisis. Now, the governments and companies must do their part too!

#WorldHumanitarianDay 🙏 💕 To celebrate #WHD2022, we salute all brave humanitarian workers around the world who tirelessly help people in need, providing necessary food, shelter, healthcare and sanitation, often putting their own lives in danger! With extreme weather events like droughts, floods or hurricanes caused by climate change, the need for humanitarian help is unprecedented.

#ClimateJustice 🌧️ Yet, the governments and companies responsible for such man-made disasters are not willing to step up. Smoke screening their lack of action by greenwashing and empty promises, they sacrifice millions of people worldwide. 🚨 Too often, the ones most affected are those who least contributed to the problem!

#WeAreManushyan ♾ Equal Human Beings

On #WorldHumanitarianDay2022, we call on the world's governments to acknowledge the crucial role of humanitarian workers in addressing the disastrous climate change impacts and stand up to the climate challenge. Only with sincere and ambitious commitments, putting local communities and their rights at the center of the climate action, we can stand a chance. It's time to put People and the Planet over profit and bring about a Just, Inclusive, Green and Feminist Transition!
