#WorldHumanitarianDay 🍉 We are tired of performative solidarity.
Celebrating the courage of humanitarian aid workers without confronting the colonial violence that killed them, and who made those killings possible, is an insult to their lives.
🇵🇸 In less than three years, at least 595 aid workers have been killed in Gaza, the highest toll ever recorded in a single crisis. 189 were women. The overwhelming majority were Palestinians serving their own communities while surviving the same bombardment, forced displacement, hunger, and grief.
Yet the same governments posting tributes today continue to arm Israel, fund its illegal occupation, and shield it from accountability.
We demand:
🍉 An end to Israel’s genocide and illegal occupation
🍉 An immediate arms embargo on Israel
🍉 Full, safe, and unrestricted humanitarian access
🍉 Accountability for every attack on aid and health workers
Aid cannot substitute liberation.
Performative tributes cannot substitute justice.
