#ฉันคิดถึงคุณ #𝗜𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗬𝗼𝘂 🫂 On this day, 2 years since activist and lawyer 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮 was unjustly imprisoned, we join iLaw’s campaign to remind the world: 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻.

👉 In Thailand there are 𝟱𝟳 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

👩‍👦 One of them is 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗿𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗶 “𝗘𝘆𝗲” 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗼𝗻, a young mother sentenced to 8 years and 48 months in prison under Section 112 of the Criminal Code (Lèse-Majesté) and the Computer Crime Act for 8 Facebook posts about the monarchy.

Despite filing for bail, every request has been denied so far, forcing her to serve her sentence while the process of appealing the verdict continues.

This means that she is 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗻, unable to see him grow up. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺.

❌ She is now 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, as in December 2024 she was indicted on the same charges for 2 other Facebook posts.

✊ But even from prison, her resilience and resistance shine through, as she refuses to yield to injustice and continues to send messages to remind the world that political prisoners cannot be forgotten.

✊ As Decolonial Intersectional Feminists, we at Manushya renew our call for justice and freedom. We stand in solidarity with “Eye” and all the courageous Thai citizens unjustly detained for simply exercising their rights.

📢 Keep their voices alive. Share their stories and join us in saying #IMissYou #ฉันคิดถึงคุณ.
