Have you ever heard the term "intersex"?

It refers to individuals born with a variety of sex characteristics that don't conform to the traditional definitions or normative conceptions of male and female. In essence, intersex is a natural facet of human diversity, and it's crucial to understand and support intersex people for better inclusion and acceptance.

👁️‍🗨️ Unveiling the Facts:

• Approximately 1 in 1,500 to 1 in 2,000 births results in an intersex variation. It's more common than you might think.

• Intersex is not necessarily a “third sex”, as many people don’t even know they are intersex until long into their adulthood, if at all.

• There is no such thing as an “intersex body”, all bodies are valid under the intersex spectrum, and beyond.
