#PeoplePOWER 🌐 World Day for Decent Work - 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡!

Across Asia, a large proportion of youth is 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

While young people are the future, lack of democracy, rampant corruption, glaring social and economic inequalities and climate change 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬.

✊ But the 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬: from Bangladesh to the Philippines, from Nepal to Indonesia and beyond, young people are 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐝𝐮𝐞: 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 that guarantees 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.

As a Decolonial & Intersectional Feminist organisation, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐲𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 with the youth. It’s time to 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 that puts corrupted elites and corporate interests first and to 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞!
