That’s a wrap on our UPR Submissions Workshop in Bangkok! ✊🏽🔥

The workshop focused on strengthening what makes advocacy powerful: credibility, clarity, and grounded recommendations.

From Indigenous women and LGBTQIA+ activists to defenders working on reproductive rights, environment, land, migrant and labour rights, peacebuilding, and civic space, activists from all across Thailand came together to sharpen their submissions and strengthen each other’s work.
In the coming week, frontline communities, alongside us at Manushya Foundation, are moving full speed ahead to finalise well-evidenced reports that reflect realities on the ground, as the UN calls for civil society submissions to review Thailand’s human rights record (UPR IV).
This workshop wouldn’t have been possible without our partners: Young Pride Foundation, MovED, and LBTQ+ Wellbeing. Thank you for helping make this space possible. 🩷
Our people-led UPR journey continues! Follow Manushya’s socials to stay tuned for what’s next.

It’s so inspiring to see such a diverse group of activists collaborating to strengthen their UPR submissions – really highlights the power of collective effort in driving meaningful change. Focusing on credibility and grounded recommendations is key, and it sounds like this workshop provided exactly that. Wishing everyone involved the best as they finalize their reports and advocate for a stronger human rights record in Thailand!

Really glad I clicked on this today. The quality here is evident from the very first paragraph. On a lighter note, Eggy Car has been my favorite way to decompress lately and I cannot recommend it enough.
What an inspiring event in Bangkok! It's amazing to see such diverse activists coming together to strengthen their advocacy. By the way, if anyone here is working on community projects, a roofing calculator can be super helpful for planning and budgeting. Keep up the great work!
I found more organized collections on PfpUniverse while searching for something more aesthetic, and there were way more variations than I expected.
