Over two days, courageous activists and Indigenous leaders from across Southern Thailand joined forces to prepare for the next comprehensive review of Thailand’s human rights record — under the UPR (Universal Periodic Review) in November 2026.

These activists have started to draft their own UPR thematic submissions, and the energy was unstoppable! It’s truly a wonder to witness communities reclaim their power to reshape Thailand’s human rights landscape.

🌏 From the South of Thailand to the North — we’re heading next to Chiang Mai! Stay tuned for updates on our next UPR workshop.

Let’s make sure that the world hears the true human rights situation from people on the ground.

So glad to see the UPR capacity-building workshop series continue in Hat Yai—these grassroots sessions are vital for empowering local voices in the review process. Speaking of empowering voices, I recently came across vocal remover tools for stripping vocals out of event recordings; its AI vocal remover makes it easy to isolate speech or instrumental tracks. Thanks for sharing this update!
