In an article published on 25 February in Le Monde , journalist Brice Pedroletti features Lao human rights lawyer and Manushya Foundation Founder & Executive Director Emilie Palamy Pradichit , who warns of a chilling pattern of “accidents” facing government critics. “Several critical voices have been found dead in circumstances described as accidents… Investigations lack transparency, official conclusions are brief and unconvincing, and no accountability is ever established.
