🚨New criteria for a royal pardon might help corruption convicts walk free!

⚠️เมื่อวันที่ 7 กุมภาพันธ์ 2565 องค์กรต่อต้านคอร์รัปชัน (ประเทศไทย) ออกแถลงการณ์ตั้งคำถามต่อข้อเสนอแนะใน “รายงานผลการตรวจสอบการดำเนินการตามกฎหมายว่าด้วยการอภัยโทษ” ของคณะกรรมการที่แต่งตั้งโดยนายกรัฐมนตรี ซึ่งได้แก่ การปรับปรุงกระบวนการจัดชั้น เลื่อนชั้นนักโทษ การตรวจสอบรายชื่อและพฤติกรรมเพื่อรับพระราชทานอภัยโทษ ข้อเสนอแนะดังกล่าวนำไปสู่ข้อกังขาต่อการนำไปใช้ที่อาจเอื้อประโยชน์ต่อนักโทษคดีคอร์รัปชัน!
❓องค์กรต่อต้านคอร์รัปชันฯเรียกร้องให้นายกรัฐมนตรีชี้เเจงเกี่ยวกับการนำกฎระเบียบใหม่นี้ไปใช้กับนักโทษคดีคอร์รัปชัน โดยเรียกร้องให้มีการตอบคำตามต่อไปนี้
1. บุคคลที่มีพฤติกรรมคดโกงอย่างไร้จิตสำนึกจนสร้างความเสียหายแก่บ้านเมืองอย่างร้ายแรง เหตุใดจึงได้รับการลดโทษอภัยโทษอย่างรวดเร็ว?
2. รายชื่อนักโทษที่เข้าข่ายได้รับพระราชทานอภัยโทษเมื่อวันที่ 5 ธันวาคม 2564 แต่ยังไม่ได้รับการอภัยโทษเพราะอยู่ในขั้นตอนการพิจารณา จะได้รับการพิจารณาตามกฎเกณฑ์ใหม่ที่กำลังดำเนินการอยู่หรือไม่?
3. มีนักโทษหลายคน ได้เลื่อนชั้นเป็นนักโทษชั้นดีพิเศษ โดยในปีเดียวได้เลื่อนขั้นถึง 3 ครั้ง เป็นนักโทษชั้นดี ชั้นดีมาก และชั้นดีเยี่ยม จึงควรจะมีการตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริงถึงความเหมาะสมหรือไม่อย่างไร?

#SayNoToCorruption ⚠️On February 7, 2022, the Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand (ACT) issued an announcement to question the “report of investigation result on pardon law” by a governmental committee which contained a revision of inmate classification and promotion process, inmate checklist, and their behavioral examination for a royal pardon. The report has been questioned by the ACT since the new criteria might be exploited by the corruption convicts and help them walk free! Read more ⤵️
❓The ACT calls on the Prime Minister to further clarify the new criteria's application to the corruption convicts by demanding answers to the following questions:
Why do fraudulent and vicious persons who severely damaged the country get a royal pardon so quickly?
List of prisoners eligible for a royal pardon on December 5, 2021, or prisoners in the consideration process: will they be considered based on the new criteria?
According to the data, several prisoners were promoted to extraordinarily excellent prisoners. Within only a year, they were promoted three times from good prisoners to excellent prisoners, and extraordinarily excellent prisoners. Should there be an investigation on this?
