📃 Our new policy brief explores Thailand’s application to join the OECD, and what this would mean in terms of responsible business conduct. 

⚖️ Although Thailand is praised for being the first Asian country to implement a NAP-BHR, the current NAP fails to include a smart mix of voluntary and mandatory measures. For instance, it does not require business to conduct mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence (mHREDD). 

🔇Currently communities are paying the price, while facing SLAPPs, when speaking out against corporate abuse. Thailand must do better to protect these communities.
