๐ฃ On 23-24 October, Manushya Foundation, in collaboration with Young Pride Foundation, the Peopleโs Movement to Eliminate Discrimination (MovED), the LBT Wellbeing, and the Thai CSOs Coalition for the UPR, we brought together ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป ๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ.
The workshop aimed to strengthen their capacity to engage in ๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑโ๐ ๐๐ฝ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ณ๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐๐ต ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ (UPR), taking place in ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
โก๏ธ While Day 1 was focused on understanding the UPR process and the best engagement strategies, โก๏ธDay 2 ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, as participants worked in groups to start developing their own community-led UPR IV thematic reports.
โAs Decolonial Intersectional Feminists, we at Manushya Foundation are committed to powering and amplifying the voices of those working on the ground and making sure the world hears the truth directly from them. ๐๐โ๐ ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐ต๐ผ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ for its international human rights obligations!
