#WeAreManushyan ♾️ Equal Human Beings

You have heard us saying that a lot in recent months. But what does it mean?

❤️ In Sanskrit, Manushya means 'Human Being'. Manushya Foundation (Manushya) was founded in 2017 by Emilie Palamy Pradichit, with the vision to build a movement of Equal Human Beings ∞ #WeAreManushyan ∞ Manushya is an Intersectional Feminist organization reinforcing the power of Humans, in particular local communities and women human rights defenders, to fight for Human Rights, Equality & Justice!

💫 #WeAreManushyan is a movement of change-makers, visionaries, human rights & pro-democracy activists, human rights defenders and many others who believe that we are all Equal Human Beings born with Equal Rights! Together, we employ various strategies to create a long-lasting positive change on the ground.

👉 We use our expertise in International Human Rights Law to bring grievances of local communities to the UN Human Rights Mechanisms.

👉 We support human rights defenders with resources and knowledge so they can carry on with their crucial work.

👉 We advocate for the protection of and respect for digital rights.

👉 We build coalitions and conduct important research to call for the protection of human rights in business operations.

👉 We reinforce the power of women & apply a gender lens in all our work!

Being a Manushyan, at its core, feels like remembering our shared humanity even when the world gets loud. I’ve found that staying informed on local and global justice issues helps me live that out, and I always turn to the Winston Salem Journal https://www.pissedconsumer.com/winston-salem-journal/RT-F.html for grounded, reliable news on what’s happening in our own community. That kind of regular, honest reporting has helped me spot small ways to show up for others, which is exactly what this movement encourages. Thanks for sharing this perspective - it’s a good reminder that change starts with how we see each other every day.

If you can create multiple rows or columns at once, your score will increase very quickly. Clearing multiple rows in a row in Block Blast always feels incredibly satisfying.
