#UNForumBHR #CorporateAccountability 🚨 Manushya Foundation is at the 11th United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights in Geneva! #bizhumanrights

Emilie Palamy Pradichit, Founder & Executive Director of Manushya Foundation, and Nada Chaiyajit, Manushya's Human Rights Campaign Advisor, are fighting for real corporate accountability at the UN BHR Forum in Geneva, denouncing Thailand's weak NAP-BHR, calling States to #StopNAPping and to enact #mHREDD, standing up against corporate capture and pushing back on SLAPPs against human rights defenders in Thailand! ✊

#StopSLAPP 📢 Nada will speak at the session, "Defending rights: the essential role of HRDs for business accountability", sharing with the international community how unfair SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) lawsuits are weaponized against human rights defenders in Thailand. Nada will give a first-hand testimony as she is currently facing a SLAPP case from a Thai businessman who also happens to be a powerful politician, after she denounced the sexual harassment he perpetrated against a transgender woman working at his company. #SaveNada
